Programme Manager
Description

The Programme Manager will work alongside existing incubation teams in Singapore and Indonesia. This role is primarily responsible for overseeing programmes in assigned locations, ensuring smooth execution of incubation programmes, ecosystem development, and supporting NUS Overseas Colleges (NOC) initiatives.

Responsibilities

1. Incubation Related:

  • Help market and establish incubation and related programmes in assigned locations.
  • Assess the suitability of startups for the incubation programme.
  • Onboard startups into the incubation programme.
  • Account manage startups within the incubation programme.
  • Manage incubation and other support programmes for startups.

2. Ecosystem Development:

  • Build active engagement and partnerships with local universities, government agencies, corporates, investors, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Drive community engagement by creating a robust content calendar for social media and email channels—including ideation, writing, and scheduling.
  • Curate and encourage participation across internal and external communities to grow engagement and followers.
  • Organize and support signature events.
  • Host visits from both local and international delegations.

3. NUS Overseas Colleges (NOC) Related:

  • Support the management and administration of NOC Southeast Asia programmes.
  • Develop and support events for NOC students to enhance learning opportunities and NOC brand visibility within the host city.
  • Source and generate leads for potential strategic partnerships and networks (companies, VCs, incubators, institutions, etc.) to advance the objectives of NOC and NUS Enterprise.
  • Assist in identifying company-specific projects and opportunities for experiential learning and internship placements.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of the local startup ecosystem; prior experience with a tech startup, venture capital firm, investor, incubator, accelerator, or academic institution is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong command of English and Bahasa Indonesia for both formal and informal communication, including public presentations.
  • Exceptional writing skills.
  • Passionate about entrepreneurship.
  • Proven self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an outgoing personality and a high interest in learning and personal development.
  • Team player with a collaborative attitude.
  • Detail-oriented, critical thinker, and problem-solver.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.

Preferred / Advantageous:

  • Hands-on experience with social media management.
  • Knowledge of online marketing tools and channels.
