Software Developer (Technical Lead)
Description

The Software Developer (“Developer”) is a product development position that collaborates closely across company functions to achieve the organization's business objectives. The Developer would work with other developers and commercial staff to translate business objectives, product development strategies, and customer requirements into the organization's products and services.

  • Develop production code while maintaining the highest standards and practices of software development
  • Implement and maintain systems and software architecture for data ingestion, storage, processing, and visualization under medical device and HIPAA design controls
  • Ensure that development is performed with clean, well-commented, and well-tested code that follows data governance policies
  • Implement security methods for user and device authentication and authorization, as well as robust encryption and other security mechanisms
  • Provide development and production status updates to project leaders
  • Learn new programming languages and tools as needed especially those in our tech stack.
Qualifications
  • Min Bachelor’s degree in STEM
  • 1-2 years prior experience in software development or algorithm R&D
  • Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
  • Comfort with collaboration, open communication, and reaching across functional areas
  • Ability to multi-task and manage tasks with varying priorities
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning methods.
  • Preference for those who have a good grasp of 1 or more of the following in our tech stack:
  • Javascript with HTML/CSS, NativeScript
  • Python & Django/Flask
  • Prolog
  • Swift for cross-platform development
  • Dart & Flutter
  • Multi-Cloud setup with Terraform.io and Serverless.com (Yaml)
