Junior Support Specialist / Support Specialist
Description
We are looking for a Junior Support Specialist / Support Specialist (depending on experience) to provide technical support and ensure the smooth operation of software solutions for customers. In this role, you will troubleshoot technical issues, work closely with development teams, and deliver timely resolutions while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in technical support, application support, or software support.
- Good knowledge of Java and/or .NET.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Knowledge of web and application servers such as Tomcat and IIS.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Experience analyzing application logs, database logs, and system logs.
- Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Contact Center or Telephony platforms (e.g., Avaya, Genesys, Cisco, AWS Connect) is an advantage.
- Experience supporting CTI, IVR, PBX, or Agent Desktop applications is a plus.
- Experience supporting production environments is preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours when required.
Qualifications
- Min Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering with 1 - 2 years of working experience
- Familiarity with MongoDB, AWS S3, cloud watch, SFTP, TCP/IP, SMTP, Azure, Google Cloud, Alibaba OSS
- Language: Python, Django, Javascript, HTML, CSS, latex, RESTful APIs,
- Date structure: JSON, HL7, FHIR
- Experience with health IT systems (electronic medical records, laboratory information systems, etc) would be advantageous
- Personality requirements: Driven, client-oriented, independent, and able to function in a dynamic startup environment.
